Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and ReallyCreativeIdeas.com Pte. Ltd., a company registered in Singapore (“we”, “us”), for your use of the Starcastic app and website (“Starcastic”). By downloading or using Starcastic you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Starcastic.

1. Who can use Starcastic

You must be at least 16 years old. By using Starcastic you confirm that you are, and that you can legally agree to these terms.

2. For entertainment only

Starcastic offers horoscopes and astrology readings for fun and self-reflection. They are not facts or predictions, and they are not medical, psychological, legal, financial or any other professional advice. Do not rely on them for important decisions.

Some readings are written in a deliberately teasing “roast” style. They are generated for entertainment and are not personal judgements about you. You can switch to a gentler tone in the app at any time. Some text is generated with the help of artificial intelligence and may occasionally be inaccurate or odd. If anything you see feels harmful, please tell us.

3. Your account

Keep your sign-in details safe and give accurate birth details so your readings work. You are responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time in the app or by emailing support@starcastic.app.

4. Subscriptions and purchases

• Starcastic is free to download. Some features may require a paid subscription or in-app purchase. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
• Payments are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) and charged to your store account.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it ends when you buy a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies, except where the law requires otherwise.

5. Friend invites

You may invite friends to Starcastic using invite links. Only share links with people who would welcome them, and do not use invites to send spam. When you connect with a friend, they may see your chosen name and the readings you choose to share.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use Starcastic to harass, bully or harm anyone, or to break any law;
• enter another person’s details without their permission;
• copy, resell, scrape or reverse-engineer Starcastic, or try to get around its security or payment features;
• interfere with Starcastic or other people’s use of it.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

7. Our content

Starcastic, including its design, text, readings, artwork and the Starcastic name, belongs to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for your own non-commercial purposes. You may share screenshots of your own readings for personal, non-commercial use.

8. Changes and availability

We may change, add or remove features, or stop offering Starcastic, at any time. We will try to give notice of major changes. Starcastic may sometimes be unavailable because of maintenance or things outside our control.

9. Disclaimers

Starcastic is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that readings will be accurate or suit your purpose.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for decisions you make based on a reading. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or SGD 100 if you paid nothing. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer laws that cannot be excluded.

11. Ending these terms

You may stop using Starcastic and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we stop offering Starcastic. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as 7, 9, 10 and 13) continue after termination.

12. Apple and Google

If you downloaded Starcastic from the App Store, these terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for Starcastic or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support, and is not responsible for any claims relating to the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm you are not in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo and are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Your use must also follow the App Store or Google Play terms that apply to you.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Disputes will be handled by the courts of Singapore, unless the consumer laws of the country where you live give you the right to bring a claim there.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top, and for important changes we will tell you in the app. If you keep using Starcastic after changes take effect, you accept the updated terms.
